Kidnapped boy found in Norcross

A 4-year-old boy abducted from his Six Flags Drive home in Cobb County Thursday morning was found safe hours later in Norcross. At about 4:15 p.m., reports said, Gwinnett County police, deputies and U.S. Marshals, aided by the Cobb County Police Department, descended on the Madison Ridge Apartments on Indian Trail-Lilburn Road where they found Christian Guevera.

A Lawrenceville man is behind bars after police said he kidnapped and raped a Duluth girl sometime between the afternoon of Jan. 19 and Saturday evening. Cirilo Ramirez, 25, is being held on several charges, including rape, kidnapping, false imprisonment, theft and carrying a concealed weapon. Jail records show the El Savador native also faces a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement hold.
