Info file: Carter averaged 10 points, 7.2 assists and 5.7 steals as a freshman as Buford went 32-1 and won the Class AA state championship. With Class AA player of the year Blanche Alverson and seven other seniors gone from last season, Carter will have to step up even more this season. Considered one of the top sophomore prospects in the nation, she is capable of doing just that.
