Special Photo Louise Radloff Middle Schoolis "Digital Learning Program" receives a helping hand from a $15,000 Jackson EMC Foundation grant. The program from CFY-Atlanta is providing free refurbished computers loaded with educational and word processing software to about 300 sixth graders to improve their home learning, involve their parents and help keep them engaged in school work. JEFFERSON -- During its February meeting, the Jackson EMC Foundation Board of Directors awarded a total of $78,621 in grants, including $68,691 to organizations and $9,930 to individuals. Among the grants awarded were $44,000 to five agencies that provide programs or services to the residents of Gwinnett County.
