Staff Photo: John Bohn Courtney Lang, a volunteer at the Gwinnett County Animal Welfare and Enforcement Center holds a 6 to 8 week old kitten that was adopted Saturday while the center hosted an adoption block party. Since July 7th the center has been running an event called the "Adoption Explosion". Animal Welfare has waived adoption fees while reducing veterinarian fees by half. Normally, pet adoptions fees are $90, the reduced price is $30.
