Crist unseats Lilburn mayor Preston
After a longer-than-expected election night, the city of Lilburn has a new mayor. City clerk Kathy Maner released unofficial results from Tuesday's election at about 2:45 a.m. Wednesday. They showed that Johnny Crist — a pastor and one-term city councilman — topped incumbent Diana Preston for Lilburn's next mayor.
