New ABA team to host tryouts

The Atlanta Aliens basketball team, a new ABA franchise that begins play later this year, will hold tryouts Aug. 27 at Highland Athletic Club in Atlanta. Tryouts are from noon to 5 p.m. for the Duluth-based team, which will play home games at Doraville’s Forrest Fleming Arena.
