Fresh off helping his team to a Class A state championship to close out his junior season, Hebron Christian pitcher Mason Felt has selected a path for the next level of baseball by giving a verbal commitment to attend Oregon State University beginning in the fall of 2012.
Anyone who expected Pace Academy to overwhelm Hebron Christian in the Class A boys soccer playoffs was wrong. The underdog Lions pushed host Pace to the brink Saturday afternoon before falling 2-1 and ending the most successful season in school history in the quarterfinal round.

ATHENS — Despite a double-double from Whitney Edwards, Hebron lost to Towns County 68-64 in the Region 8-A semifinals Friday. The Lions (14-12) will play the host school Athens Christian for the third seed today at 4 p.m.
