LAWRENCEVILLE — A football player from Archer High School who was transported to a local hospital Tuesday morning during practice is on the mend, according to an official with Gwinnett County Public Schools.
The Archer High School football program will host its annual youth camp next week and it will accept walk-up registration beginning Monday at 4:45 p.m.
The Archer cross country teams will host their third annual Measuring Stick 5K/Fun Run at Tribble Mill Park on July 30. The event is a fundraiser for the Tigers’ running programs.
Recent Archer graduate Kryslynn Davidson, a three-sport athlete for the Tigers, has signed a letter of intent with the Shorter College track and field program. She is the daughter of Debra Gilleland.
Archer senior Kotori Spillers became the two-year-old school’s first college basketball signee this week when she signed a letter of intent with Andrew College.
Archer goalkeeper Kristen Craig signed a soccer scholarship with Brenau University on Tuesday. The two-year starter is the first soccer signee in the school’s two-year history. She is the daughter of Steve and Jenene Craig.
