Dacula senior Alexandria Armah signed a letter of intent this week to play basketball for Georgia Southwestern State University.
Dacula senior catcher Tripp Calhoun has signed a letter of intent to play baseball for Darton College. The son of Bill and Paula Calhoun, he also earned the school’s Dean’s Scholar Award.
MILTON — With his former Major League pitching grandfather watching from the stands, Tyler Jarvis pitched a two-hit, 12-strikeout shutout to lead Dacula to a 2-0 win and complete a doubleheader sweep of Milton in the first round of the Class AAAAA state baseball playoffs Friday night.
Playing in less than ideal weather conditions and without its star player, the Dacula boys soccer team defeated Centennial 2-0 in the opening round of the AAAAA state playoffs on Wednesday night.
