The high school football season is halfway over. Here's a few observations from the first part of the year.
Gwinnett County is no longer known for producing top running backs. This year's quarterback class is one of the deepest ever.

I'm not gonna lie, I've been ready for some high school football since March. I think that was about the time I stopped crying over Black Friday. The first round of the playoffs are in the bag. We had blowout wins, close victories, an upset and an overtime loss. You gotta love the excitement of the playoffs.
I don't know what I get more excited about -- the start of the football season or the playoffs. It doesn't matter if your allegiance is to Region 7 or Region 8 this is when we want to see all Gwinnett County teams go deep in the playoffs
