60th anniversary: Bob and Cissy Mitchell
Bob and Cissy Mitchell of Buford celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They were married Oct. 9, 1949, in Westland, Mich. Bob is a retired engineer who served in the Air Force from 1943 to 1945. Cissy is a retired nurse and school teacher. The couple has two children, Jackie and Cathy. The couple will commemorate their anniversary with a celebration dinner.
