Pets set to descend on Suwanee Town Center Park on Saturday for Woofstock

For Gwinnett pet parents and their animals, this may be the event of the year.

Woofstock, Star 94’s Pet Party in the Park, is coming to Suwanee Town Center Park on Saturday, May 3, with Frisbee and dock diving demos, pet vendors, pet adoptions, live music, contests and inflatables for children. More than 20 nonprofits and rescue groups will be in attendance.

Star 94 is expecting 8,000 to 10,000 people over the course of the day, which doesn’t include dogs, cats, birds, ferrets and more, which are all welcome, as long as the pet is on a leash.

“This event has something for all members of your family, a beer garden for mom and dad, inflatables for the kids, live music and pet demonstrations/clinics for the whole family plus hundreds of pet vendors and rescue groups that sell items for the pets,” said Mike Moshure, promotions director for the radio station.

For pet parents, no alcohol may be brought into Town Center Park, but food and beverages, including beer and wine, may be purchased from event vendors and Town Center merchants.
