The Georgia Manufacturing Expo will be hosting a tour of the Gwinnett Daily Post on March 27 as part of their Plant Tour Series.
The expo developed the tours to educate people about the manufacturing industry in Georgia and encourage future workers to consider a career in manufacturing. Jason Moss, founder of the expo, said the tours will help bridge the gap between consumers and manufacturers.
“The tour of the Post will allow people to see what it takes to produce a newspaper,” said Moss, who is a Lawrenceville resident, ” so they can build a different relationship with the paper on their front lawn.”
The tour of the Daily Post will be from 6 to 8 p.m. and can accomodate up to 60 people. The cost is $10, and all proceeds will be donated to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit ambulance fund at Gwinnett Medical Center.
All attendees must pre-register for the tour. For more information and to register, visit georgiamanufacturingexpo.com.
