North Gwinnett coach Garner wins free-throw fundraiser for the Amanda Riley Foundation

North Gwinnett boys basketball assistant coach Matt Garner was this season’s champion in Shots from the Heart: Gwinnett Coaches Against Childhood Cancer, a free-throw fundraiser for the Amanda Riley Foundation that features Gwinnett basketball coaches in competition with each other.

Garner finished the final round with 53 points, one ahead of runner-up and defending champion Josh Chase, a Collins Hill boys assistant.

The proceeds from the competition go the Amanda Riley Foundation, named for a former Brookwood runner and basketball player. The foundation offers support to children and their families as they battle cancer. For more information, go to www.amandarileyfoundation.org.
