BUFORD — Fans will have an opportunity to grill with the Atlanta Falcons on June 14.

The Mall of Georgia will host the second annual tailgating extravaganza from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the parking lot between Belk and Nordstrom at the mall.

Several Atlanta Falcons players, cheerleaders, and head coach Mike Smith will be signing autographs at the event.

The free event will feature a tailgating contest. After a round of preliminary judging, the top 18 finalists will compete head to head in various categories to win the title of Falcons Grill Master.

There will also be a “celebrity division” round of the contest where players and Smith will vie for the title of Celebrity Grill Master.

In addition to the competition, attendees can enjoy live entertainment, interactive games and giveaways.

All of the proceeds to the event will benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

After the event, Mall of Georgia encourages participants to stay for the Movies Under The Stars concert and showcase. The Coal Mountain Band will perform at 6:30 p.m. followed by the feature presentation film “Man of Steel” at the Village Amphitheater.
