The Gwinnett Gladiators announced the team’s protected list, which includes fifteen forwards, on Monday.

Teams are allowed to protect as many players as they wish provided the players protected meet the guidelines as defined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association.

Gwinnett’s protected forwards are Kurtis Bartliff, Chris Culligan, Josh Derko, Marshall Everson, Joey Haddad, Bobby Hughes, Alex Hutchings, David Laliberte, Maxime Legault, Will MacDonald, Mike Merrifield, Casey Pierro-Zabotel, Stefan Schneider, Mike Seidel and Dirk Southern.

The Gladiators also protected seven defensemen — Art Bidlevskii, Matt Clune, Nolan Descoteaux, Jonathan Narbonne, Eriks Sevcenko, Daniel Spivak and Eric Springer. They also protected one goalie, Mark Guggenberger.
