Gwinnett Daily Post
Within the next few days, Gwinnett County property owners will receive their 2014 property tax bills.
The bills, which have a single-installment due date of Oct. 1, can be paid in partial payments as long as the total amount is remitted by the due date.
The Tax Commissioner’s Office reminds property owners with escrow accounts that while tax information is available to mortgage companies, it is ultimately the responsibility of the property owner to ensure taxes are paid on time. Property owners should contact their mortgage company directly with any questions regarding who will pay the taxes.
Property tax payments may be made by mail, in person during business hours at all Tax Commissioner offices, by check using drop boxes 24 hours a day at all Tax Commissioner offices or online at GwinnettTaxCommissioner.com (a service fee will be applied to debit and credit card transactions).
Property tax information may be viewed online at www.GwinnettTaxCommissioner.com. For additional information, contact the office by email at Tax@gwinnettcounty.com or by phone at 770-822-8800.
