Archer's Lee chasing firsts on college level, too

It's small-town atmosphere was the biggest selling point for Duane Lee when he took his official visit to Point University, a tiny school in West Point.

But the newness of the football program, entering its third year, gave Lee the chance to continue a career chasing newness.

“It was neat being able to do a lot of firsts at Archer,” Lee said. “I hope to do a lot of firsts for Point.”

In his four years with the Tigers, Lee oversaw a program which made its first playoff appearance and its first region championship.

“I learned to just keep working harder,” Lee said.
