BUFORD — Lake Lanier Islands Resort is now a pet-friendly resort.
“With mile after mile of scenic paths and walking trails throughout the resort, this is the ideal setting for our guests to enjoy leisurely time with their pets, ” Stephanie Orr, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, said. “By designating the Islands a pet-friendly resort, we alleviate the hassle of having to find a pet-sitter or boarding facility, as well as the stress of seperation on both the pets and their humans.”
Pets will be able to stay in specially designated rooms in the Legacy Lodge, the Lakehouses at Legacy and the Campgrounds at Shoal Creek and Blue Ridge. Lake Lanier is also extending its customer service to their new furry friends by offering welcome gifts and a pet walking service for $10 per walk. Guests wishing to book a visit to the Islands including their pet will need to first consider the restrictions and regulations that apply.
