SNELLVILLE — The first of its kind, the restaurant Cabana Grill will open Monday in Snellville.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Greater Eastside Chamber of Commerce is planned for 10:30 a.m., followed by the restaurant’s official opening at 11 and a fiesta-style celebration. Snellville Mayor Kelly Kautz is set to press the first tortilla of opening day.
The celebration will include product samplings and refreshments.
“We look forward to introducing the Snellville community to the fun and flavor of Mexico with our authentic, yet affordable, handmade Mexican food,” said Cabana Grill COO Todd Coerver. “We chose Snellville as the location of our first Cabana Grill, and we invite all our neighbors to join us on April 14 to see what we’re all about.
Cabana Grill is a new concept created by San Antonio-based Taco Cabana, a Fiesta Restaurant Group brand with more than 170 company-owned and franchised restaurants in Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico. The restaurant, located at 1635 Scenic Highway in front of the Lowe’s store will be open for dine-in and drive-through service daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
