Company’s first U.S. presence will be in Gwinnett

Local officials, business leaders and industry experts will join Shini Plastics Technologies Inc., a leading supplier of plastics manufacturing equipment, to celebrate the opening of its Americas Headquarters and Technical & Logistics Center in Suwanee on Friday.

A ceremony will be held at 3 p.m. at 4189 Capital View Drive in Suwanee.

This represents the first U.S. presence for Shini Group and will serve the North and South American markets. The facility houses a testing and technology area, warehouse, showroom and offices and is modeled after similar centers already established in Poland, Germany, India and Northern Asia.

Restaurant continues expansion with plans for Gwinnett locations

Fresh To Order (f2o), a restaurant that combines the quality of food found in casual dining with the operating platform and price point of fast casual, is expanding and agreements have been signed for two locations in Gwinnett.

Longtime restaurateur Samir Patel, who owns snack franchises, has signed on with f2o to develop two units in Gwinnett, adding to the eight existing f2o units in the Atlanta market.

“This year is shaping up to be a busy one for Fresh To Order as we continue to open new locations in the Southeast, sign franchise agreements with experienced restaurant operators, and launch new markets,” said Pierre Panos, Fresh To Order founder and CEO. “We have our sights set on our priority markets and bringing fresh, fine food at fast-casual prices to our guests.”

Fresh To Order locations will also open in Charlotte, North Carolina; Greenville, South Carolina.

Labeling manufacturer expands in Gwinnett

Diversified Labeling Solutions celebrated the opening of a new, expanded facility in Gwinnett on Thursday.

DLS is one of the largest independently owned label companies in the country and its expansion represents $1 million in investments and 15 production jobs for the community.

“We are excited to open this expanded, state-of-the-art facility in Gwinnett, metro Atlanta,” said Herb Troyer, Atlanta’s general manager for DLS. “In addition to dramatically improving our production and distribution efficiencies, we have acquired more printing presses for the location to better serve our local and regional customers.”

The facility is located at 1790 Satellite Blvd. in unincorporated Gwinnett County.
