SUGAR HILL — The city of Sugar Hill has narrowed the entries for its 75th anniversary logo down to a handful of finalists. The rest is up to you.
In 2014, Sugar Hill will be celebrating its 75th anniversary with several major events. Earlier this year, the city put out the call for submissions of original artwork in an attempt to find the perfect logo to be used during those events — on T-shirts, posters and other gear.
Those entries have now been pared down to a final six. Until Oct. 11, residents can vote online for the artwork they think best embodies the city.
Voting can be completed at cityofsugarhill.com/Logo-Competition.
All pieces had to incorporate Sugar Hill and the number 75, and were also able to include: 1939-2014; March 23, 2014; anniversary or diamond anniversary; the city tree; a diamond; and the city seal or its components.
Five of the final six submissions included either “the city tree” or Sugar Hill’s new City Hall.
