Glennie Foster Cox, age 92, of Lilburn Georgia, died on Monday, September 23, 2013. Glennie was preceeded in death by her loving husband, Floyd Cox, Sr, brothers and sisters, Eunie V. Wilson, Harrison Foster, Mollie Lee and Anne Parham. Glennie is survived by Daughter, Dr. Flora D. Cox of Snellville and Son Floyd Cox, Jr of Decatur, Grandchildren, John, Melanie and Teela, Great Grandchildren, Jarrad, Jordyn and Jaiden as well as many loving cousins and many extended family members. Mrs. Cox was a dedicated educator with 35 years of service teaching at the Westwood School District in MI. She was an active member of St. Clements in Inkster, MI before becoming a member of St. Matthews. She will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor and her enjoyment of life. Funeral services honoring the life of Glennie F. Cox will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 3pm at St. Matthews Episcopal Church, 1520 Oak Road, Snellville, Ga 30078, and Entombment to follow at Eternal Hills Memory Garden. Visitation will be held Friday, September 27, 2013 from 6-8 pm.
