Duluth-based Gem Shopping Network sold

DULUTH — The Gem Shopping Network, a 24-hour shopping channel that sells colored gemstones and jewelry based in Duluth, has been sold.

According to a news release, an affiliate of Sun Capital Partners has acquired the live television network, which went on air May 10, 1997. The Gem Shopping Network was founded by graduate gemologist Frank M. Circelli.
