LAWRENCEVILLE Francis Tate Francis Joseph Tate (1926-2013) of Lawrenceville, GA passed away peacefully September 21, 2013. Frank was born in Kansas City, Missouri and lived there until 1974 when he relocated to the Atlanta area. Frank proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II. Frank worked for The American Tobacco Company for nearly 40 years until the time of his retirement. He was preceded in death by his father, William A. Tate, his mother, Margaret C. Tate, and his daughter, Deborah Kay Klenklen. Frank is survived by Betty, his beloved wife of 63 years, his children Mary Anne Neufeld, Shawnee KS, Robert Tate, Conyers, GA, Margaret Barnes, Auburn, GA, Christopher Tate, Dacula, GA, David Tate, Lenexa KS, Michael Tate, Loganville, GA, and Frank J. Tate Jr., Dacula, GA, their spouses, and 24 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind a brother, William A. Tate from Kansas City, MO and a sister, Mary Schepers of Derby, KS. A celebration of life will be held Thursday Sept. 26th at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel at Hebron Baptist Church in Dacula. Nothing loved is ever lost and he was loved so much.
