SUWANEE —The American Red Cross has received a donation from a Gwinnett manufacturer.

Habasit America, a leader in the conveyor belt manufacturing industry, presented a check to the American Red Cross of almost $600. Habasit held a special “Dunk the Boss” day Aug. 30. Over the course of two hours Habasit employees donated close to $300 and Habasit matched the amount for the donation.

“Habasit has been an active member of the American Red Cross in Gwinnett County throughout the years and we look forward to a continued relationship with them,” Donald Rickett, Human Resources manager at Habasit America, said in a news release.
