Duluth Chick-fil-A holding food drive through month of September

DULUTH — An area Chick-fil-A location is hosting a food drive, and the restaurant is asking for specific donations — jars of peanut butter and jelly.

Customers who donate a jar to the food drive, which will be held through the end of September at the Chick-fil-A at 3555 Peachtree Industrial Blvd., will receive a free chicken sandwich. The restaurant will then donate the jars to Duluth Hands of Christ, a local food co-op that helps feed families in need in the Duluth area.

“The food drive is a great way to support those in our own back yard,” Chick-fil-A franchise Operator Jeff Howard said. “We invite the community to enjoy a sandwich on us while they support their neighbors in need.”
