LAWRENCEVILLE — A Mattie’s Call has been issued after Gwinnett County Police officers responded to a report of a missing person on Thursday.
The missing person, Horace Watson, a 63-year-old black male, left his assisted living home on Georgian Hills Drive in Lawrenceville. He was reported missing at about 6 p.m. on Thursday. Watson has grey hair and a beard and is 6-feet tall and about 155 pounds.
Gwinnett Police Cpl. Jake Smith said Watson suffers from mild forms of dementia and diabetes and walks with a limp. Watson may try to travel to Tommy Lee Fuller Drive in Loganville, where he has family, Smith said.
He left the residence on foot and does not have access to a vehicle, and he doesn’t have a cell phone or money. He was last seen wearing a navy blue shirt with a red collar.
Anyone encountering Mr. Watson should call 911.
