SNELLVILLE — After being 4-1 going into the bottom of the seventh inning, Dacula scored four runs and came back to win against Mill Creek 5-4 on Tuesday.
Madison Moseley tied the game at four with an RBI and Mackenzie Vanderhorst knocked in the game winner, capping a 2-for-4 night. Also contributing at the plate for Dacula were Deja Spring (1-for-1, double, RBI), Samantha Kates (2-for-3, run scored) and Kristen Lizardi (2-for-4). Keeli Waugh got the win for Dacula, which improved to 12-2 on the year.
Providence 10, Lakeview 2
LILBURN— Providence defeated Lakeview 10-2 in five innings Wednesday night. The winning pitcher was Abigail Roberson who improved to 6-5 on the year.
Providence got a big night at the plate from Brittany Tuttle who went 2-for-3 with an RBI triple and three runs scored. Meagan Brown went 1-for-2 with a key three RBI double and Katy Barry went 1-for-2 with two RBIs, a double and a run scored.
Buford 17, White Co. 0
BUFORD— Buford’s offense exploded for 17 runs in four innings to defeat White County 17-0. Bria Bush improved to 6-1 on the season as she earned the win with seven strikeouts just one hit allowed.
A number of Wolves contributed at the plate including Morgan Walters (3-for-3, three run home run, three RBIs), Tessa Daniels (3-for-3, two doubles, three RBIs, three runs), Sydney Stavro (2-for-2, double, three RBIs, two runs), Drew Puckett (2-for-2, double, two RBIs, run scored), and Nikki Cole, who went 4-for-5.
Shiloh 14, GAC 2
NORCROSS—Shiloh defeated Greater Atlanta Christian 14-2 Wednesday night. Cliniqua Spears and Asha Watson each went 1-for-2 with two RBIs in the victory. The Generals also got productive nights from Jordynne Baranello (1-for-3, RBI) and Aleese Ingram (1-for-3, RBI).
North 5, Lanier 0
SNELLVILLE— North Gwinnett defeated Lanier 5-0 Wednesday in a tournament at Brookwood High School. Kinsley Jennings got the win to improve to 7-1 on the season as she struck out seven and allowed just three hits. Makenna Dowell went 1-for-2 with a double and two RBIs while Draven Sonnon went 1-for-3 with a solo home run for the second night in a row. Also contributing for the Bulldogs were Chase Battle, who went 1-for-3 with an RBI, and Lindsey Cobb who went 2-for-3.
Central 14, Johnson 10
LAWRENCEVILLE— Central Gwinnett defeated Johnson in 14-10 in nine innings on Wednesday. The winning pitcher for the Black Knights was Faith Dickerson who struck out 12 in the victory. Dickerson also hit a home run. Also coming through with big nights at the plate were Taylor Croasman (3-for-3), Bri Mcgee (3-for-3, three runs), and Ashley Davis (2-for-2, triple).
