LAWRENCEVILLE — An open house for health science programs is scheduled for Oct. 3 at Gwinnett Technical College.
The free event is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. at the main campus in Lawrenceville for prospective students, parents and high school counselors to learn more about the college’s options for health care and life science careers. To register, call 678-226-6751.
Representatives from the college will also be there to answer questions about admissions and financial aid, along with program directors and faculty members for program-specific questions.
Attendees will be able to tour Gwinnett Tech’s Life Sciences Center and Health Sciences Building, and visit campus lab facilities, the nursing clinical simulation suite and learning environments for all of the college’s health sciences programs.
Programs offered at Gwinnett Tech include: Bioscience Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, Dental Assisting, Diagnostic Sonography, Health Information Technology, Nursing, Paramedicine and EMT, Patient Care Assistant, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Care and Surgical Technology.
