ATLANTA — The end of tolls along Ga. Highway 400 is nearing and the State Road and Tollway Authority is holding four public information sessions to provide details to the public.
During the four open house meetings, attendees can learn more about preliminary plans for the end of toll collections and the demolition of the toll booths along the roadway. While no formal presentations are planned, transportation representatives will be on hand to share information. The meetings are as follows:
- 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, at the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce, 11605 Haynes Bridge Road, Ste. 100, Alpharetta
- 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, at the Central Park Recreation Center, 2300 Keith Bridge Road, Cumming
- 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17 at Piney Grove Middle School, 8135 Majors Road, Cumming
- 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24 at Crowne Plaza Ravinia, 4355 Ashford Dunwoody Road, Atlanta
According to the State Road and Tollway Authority, the ending date for toll collection has been tentatively set for the week before Thanksgiving, weather permitting.
