If you see several flashy cars flying down Interstate 85, don’t be alarmed.
“Fast & Furious 7” is being filmed in and around Gwinnett County.
“We have a couple of locations in Gwinnett County over the next couple months,” Unit Publicist Carol McConnaughey said. “We cannot disclose the exact locations.”
Currently, there is a second unit filming in Colorado, but the main group will be located in metro Atlanta.
Since it is a movie about cars, there will be shots of action on closed streets.
“It’s safe to say, it is a ‘Fast & Furious’ movie, any area Atlanta will see some … car action,” McConnaughey said. “We’re excited to be back in Atlanta because we filmed ‘Fast & Furious 5’ here.”
While shooting in the area, the movie team is looking for extras
Today and Tuesday, they are looking specifically for Hispanic males to shoot scenes. On Sept. 18, producers need “hot, hip and trendy cool types” of all ethnicities between the ages of 18 and 45.
