Before it can give gifts to children, The Atlanta U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots needs help from you.
While preparing for the 2013 campaign season, the nonprofit needs to find warehouse space in Gwinnett with approximately 70,000 square feet and three or four offices. It is preferred to be in Suwanee, Norcross or Duluth and convenient to Interstate 85.
“The ideal space would be available for use immediately and through the end of the 2013 program,” media coordinator Cherrie Carney said. “However, space available between September through January would be wonderful, too. Toys for Tots is a nonprofit organization, and as such, request the space be donated for our cause.”
Last year, the group was situated in Norcross on Best Friend Road.
If you are able to help, call 678-887-5179 or email www.atlantatoysfortots.com as soon as possible.
Atlanta Toys for Tots “helps needy families throughout the metro-Atlanta area experience the joy of Christmas, playing an active role in the development of one of the nation’s most valuable natural resources — children.”
