SNELLVILLE — For months, artists have displayed their work at Snellville City Hall, but leaders are hoping to create a permanent art gallery at the city gathering place.
To help in that effort, the Snellville Arts Commission is sponsoring a fundraising.
With tickets costing $10 per person or $15 per couple, the commission will host a wine tasting from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, at Niko’s Wine Corner, located at the Avenue Webb Gin in Snellville.
The proceeds from the event, will be used to purchase a painting for the city hall’s permanent art gallery, which will be selected from one of the monthly exhibits that have been featured on the Art On the Wall at City Hall program, a press release said.
Tickets, which include hors d’oeuvers, may be purchased by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or contacting a member of the commission. Tickets will also be on sale at Niko’s Wine Corner.
