SUGAR HILL — The city of Sugar Hill is calling for vendors — those talented folks with handmade original, handmade pieces of art to sell — for its annual fall festival.
This year’s Sugar Hill Fall Festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 19 on the lawn behind city hall. Temple Drive and West Broad Street will be closed off and live music, a car show, a chili cook-off and a parade will be among the festivities.
Those interested in being vendors should visit cityofsugarhill.com/fallfest for more details. Eligible exhibits include, but are not limited to: pottery, woodwork, jewelry, clothing, needlework, photography, paintings, sketches and basket weaving.
After a hiatus due to construction on West Broad Street, the festival’s parade will be back this year.
“Join us with your unique car or truck, a float, marching group, military veterans, school band, scout groups or civic groups,” city officials said in a news release.
The 5K Sugar Hill Run will also be held on Oct. 18. Forms and more information on all events are available on the aforementioned website.
