In this week's 'Behind the Scenes' segment, we give you an on board look at the Department of Natural Resources Law Enforcement patrolling the waters of Lake Lanier.

The main focus why the officers patrol the waters is to keep the boating public safe. They do this by enforcing all the boating safety laws as well as getting intoxicated boaters off the water.

When asked about the common issues the officers deal with the DNR Law Enforcement State Ranger Barry Britt says, "The biggest thing we see out here is either inexperience where people get in trouble or it is something alcohol related is two of the biggest problems."
