Donate to Empty Stocking Fund at local Kroger stores this weekend
Kroger stores in the metro Atlanta area are kicking off the month of November by raising money for children in need this holiday season.
On Saturday, Nov. 2, and Sunday, Nov. 3, more than 2,500 Junior ROTC cadets representing 30 metro Atlanta high schools’ JROTC programs will be on-site at more than 67 Kroger stores to raise awareness and funds for the non-profit organization The Empty Stocking Fund. Kroger customer donations to The Empty Stocking Fund will help provide gifts for thousands of children living in Gwinnett and surrounding counties.
In December — with the monetary donations from Kroger customers and community members — parents and guardians of children from birth to 12 years of age will visit Santa’s Village and select gifts for their children. To learn more about how you can support The Empty Stocking Fund, please visit www.emptystockingfund.org.
