LAWRENCEVILLE — On Nov. 9, a different type of fall festival returns to Lawrenceville.
A Day of Hope Foundation is hosting its annual free family event from noon to 5 p.m. on the lawn of the Gwinnett Historic Courthouse.
There are activities and live entertainment for everyone in the family.
A kids zone features bounce houses, face painting, story time and popcorn. On the main stage, there are several styles of dance to be shown, performances by teen music groups and local bands, plus messages of hope.
The adults can receive behavior and addiction counseling, free medical testing and eye exams, healthy and wellness kiosks, and a free spa area.
Throughout the event, there will be a blood drive and motorcycle show, plus grocery bags and coats for kids (infant to high school) while supplies last.
A Day of Hope’s mission is “to bring hope to the people in our community by connecting them with available resources to address their spiritual, emotional and physical needs.”
The courthouse is located at 185 W. Crogan St. in Lawrenceville.
