With Halloween around the corner, there are several different ways to celebrate the spooky time of year. Here’s a list of some of the events happening through Oct. 31.

In Norcross, the residents take the Day of the Dead seriously, so they celebrate for a week with mask making, parade and hay rides.

Halloween (and Howl) on the Green

The city of Duluth presents their version of Halloween children costume contests hay rides and trick-or-treating. By night, it’s for the adults only.

Mall of Georgia Halloween

The mall is hosting Halloween festivities for families in a safe and secure environment, but no masks are allowed.

Sugarloaf Mills Mall Halloween

Sugarloaf Mills — formerly Discover Mills — plays host to mall wide trick-or-treating and bash in the food court. No masks allowed in the event

Auburn has free candy, crafts, costume contest and games, plus a showing of a movie at night.

Trek or Treat

This family friendly costumed event in Suwanee has fall games, crafts and “trek or treating”

Gwinnett Place Mall Halloween

The mall is hosting trick-or-treating for kids 12 and younger, plus craft stations, face painting, balloon animals and pumpkin decorating.

Georgia’s No. 1 scare attraction. This year’s themes are The Dead Ones and Boogeyman.

Sims Lake Park has been transformed into a scary backdrop for zombies and tortured tales of terror for Halloween.

ART Station’s A Tour of Southern Ghosts

A storytelling festival that showcases the best ghost stories from the South.
