NORCROSS — Best-selling author Stuart Woods last visited Gwinnett in April as part of Gwinnett Public Library’s Meet the Author series.
On Oct. 16, he returns as part of the same series, which will be held at the Norcross Cultural Arts and Community Center at 7 p.m. Woods is promoting his latest novel “Doing Hard Time.”
In this thriller, New York cop-turned-attorney Stone Barrington takes a a trip to Bel-Air to check in on some business and personal concerns, expecting to relax. Instead, he works on a case that was thought to be closed and makes an ally with a criminal.
Woods was born in the town of Manchester and graduated from the University of Georgia, with a bachelor’s degree in sociology. Since then, he’s written more than 50 books.
According to a release, the “Meet the Author events are special opportunities hosted by the library for fans and avid readers to share in the experience of meeting prolific, best-selling and/or award winning authors to enjoy meaningful discussions about their works and the publishing process.”
This event is free and open to the public, and books will be available for purchase and signing. The Norcross Cultural Arts and Community Center is located at 10 College St. in Norcross.
