Reward for information related to homicide increased

The reward for information related to a September homicide has been increased.

The family of the victim, Bryan Ritzert, is offering a reward of $5,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case. This is in addition to the possible $2,000 reward from Crime Stoppers for information leading to an arrest and indictment.

Ritzert, 27, died from an apparent gunshot wound Sept. 2 at 910 Falling Water Lane in unincorporated Norcross.

Ritzert’s roommates reported hearing a commotion during the overnight hours but did not discover the body until later. According to Gwinnett police, there was forced entry into the home.
