Gwinnett Braves award grants to nonprofit organizations
Two organizations will benefit from $1,000 grants from the Gwinnett Braves — Family Connection and Communities in Schools of Barrow County and For My Sisters Inc.
Family Connection and Communities in Schools of Barrow County helps support students living in Barrow through its annual Back to School Bash, where the organization gives away book bags and school supplies to children in need.
For My Sisters Inc. is a ministry for single mothers. The grant will assist the organization in purchasing tennis shoes and clothing required for physical education programs.
