Marjorie Trumbull Meloy, 85, of Alpharetta, GA died October 2, 2013. The memorial service will be held, Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. at the Duluth First United Methodist Church with Rev. C. Kay Fuino and Pastor Danny Park officiating.
Mrs. Meloy, a native of Grand Rapids, MI, was a member of the Duluth First United Methodist Church. She was retired from Urbana University in Urbana, OH. A world traveler, she spent many years living abroad, and while there she worked for Radio Free Europe. She was an avid Mahjong and card player, and had a great love for music and crafts.
She will be remembered as a gracious lady who lived a rich and full life. She will be missed by her family and many friends.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Carl Meloy, she is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Janine (Norman) Smith of Alpharetta, GA, Alice Mayes of Columbus, OH, Laure (Richard Artingstoll) Meloy of Canterbury, England; son and daughter-in-law, Carl R. (Debbie Windbacher) Meloy of Montague, MI; 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
