Gwinnett Daily Post
This holiday season Tim Stewart Funeral Home is participating in Operation Toy Soldier, a toy drive for the children of local military members who are currently deployed.
“Operation Toy Soldier is a nationwide initiative that began right here in Lawrenceville,” Frankie Stewart of Tim Stewart said. “Our military makes sacrifices every day to protect our freedom. These brave men and women take time away from their families to protect us. Collecting toys for the children they had to leave behind this Christmas is the least we can do”
New, unwrapped toys can be donated at any of their funeral homes until Dec. 21, so the gifts can be handed out right before Christmas.
Children’s wish lists are also available upon request.
There are three locations in Gwinnett that are participating:
• 300 Simonton Road, Lawrenceville;
• 670 Tom Brewer Road, Loganville; and
• 2246 Wisteria Drive, Snellville.
