SUWANEE — The Pendergrass Flea Market is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading authorities to the men who robbed one of its store owners after following him to his Suwanee home.

Gwinnett County police said the two men — described as black males between 28 and 35 years old — watched their victim close down Zone Electronics at the flea market on Nov. 16. They followed him to his home in Suwanee, confronting him with a shotgun before he even exited his vehicle.

“The suspect demanded money, which the victim provided,” police spokesman Cpl. Jake Smith said. “The suspect was not satisfied with the amount. He demanded more money and fired a shot into the floorboard of the victim’s vehicle.”

After getting more cash, the armed suspect fled to a waiting vehicle.

Police released surveillance photos of the suspects. The men are “very similar in appearance” and could be related.
