Noteworthy: Bullard was a decorated youth wrestler and added to his resume during his freshman year. He won the Class AAAAAA state championship along with region and county titles. Bullard was also a NHSCA national champion.

Coach Tom Beuglas’ take: “Daniel and Thomas are a coaches dream. They are both straight A students, complete gentlemen off the mat, and two of the most positive kids I have ever been around. They always give you their best efforts and they never quit. It has been a pleasure having identical twins that are not only such incredible wrestlers, but are also great teammates and a lot of fun to be around. Only sophomores, I think they will be among the best wrestlers in the country as they continue to get stronger and continue to learn the sport.”

Noteworthy: Bullard was a talented youth wrestler and continued that during his freshman campaign. He won the Class AAAAAA state championship to go along with region and county titles. Bullard also won the NHSCA national championship.

Noteworthy: Couzan is a standout football player and the anchor of the offensive line for the Tigers’ region champion football team. His future is likely in football, where he has scholarship offers, but he’s still a threat on the mat. Couzan won the Class AAAAAA state championship to help the Tigers claim their first dual and traditional state titles.

Coach Tom Beuglas’ take: “M.J. did a great job for us last year. He was not even ranked at the beginning of the season, but week after week he continued to get better and climb the rankings. He won some big matches for us in addition to winning the state title. He is in excellent shape for such a big man, he wears his opponents down. He has a great attitude and loves to compete. With continued work and improvement, we expect him to repeat as state champion this season.”

Noteworthy: Millhof is a three-time state finalist and two-time state champion. He has only lost one match to a Georgia opponent and that was in the state finals his freshman year. Millhof is ranked No. 1 in nation in his weight class and is a three-time NHSCA national champion. He became the first Georgian to win back-to-back Super 32 titles last month.

Coach Josh Stephen’s take: Ryan is the total package and truly is a student of the sport. He does all the right things on and off the mat. He has a ninja-type style, making him very hard to score on and he can also score from any position. He will be very successful in college.”

Noteworthy: Ness is a three-time state champion and holds a 137-1 career record with 92 pins. His only loss was to Pope’s nationally ranked Brooks Climmons. Ness is ranked No. 2 in the nation at 195 pounds and became the third Georgian to win the prestigious Super 32 title last month. He’s a six-time high school All-American, NHSCA national champion in 2011 and Fargo freestyle runner-up in 2012

Noteworthy: Russell has been one of the state’s top wrestlers throughout his high school career, winning three state championships. He can become the first Gwinnett wrestler to win four state titles since Collins Hill’s Tyler Parker in 2005. Russell, who ranked No. 1 in the nation, is a NHSCA national champion and three-time Super 32 placer, finishing runner-up in 2012.

He is poised to do great things in college and finish off his high school career as a 4 time state champion.”
