DULUTH — The Gwinnett Gladiators signed forward Marshall Everson on Thursday.
Everson, 23, most recently spent time with the Peoria Rivermen of the American Hockey League, playing in the final two games of their 2012-13 season.
Prior to that, Everson spent four seasons with Harvard of the Eastern College Athletic Conference. In 119 total games with the Crimson, the Minnesota-native had 31 goals and 32 assists for 63 points.
In his junior year, Everson finished second among Harvard forwards with 32 points (13g, 19a). He was also an ECAC Hockey All-Academic selection and a semifinalist for the Walter Brown Award, which is presented to the best U.S.-born college hockey player in New England. Everson led the Crimson in goals his senior year with 11.
The Gladiators, languishing in the basement of the South Division with just one win, play a home-and-home against Greenville this weekend. They’re on the road tonight and home Saturday at the Arena at Gwinnett Center.
