DULUTH -- National DCP, LLC has teamed up with the Gwinnett Chamber Economic Development to announce Friday the opening of a new corporate office in Gwinnett County.
NDCP, an exclusive partner for Dunkin' Donuts restaurants, opens its corporate office in August, creating more than 125 full-time administrative jobs in Duluth.
"After the successful merger of five different operating companies across the U.S. in 2012, we are opening this new office to better serve our customers, the Dunkin' Donuts franchisees," said Scott Carter, NDCP chief executive officer. "... In support of the rapidly expanding Dunkin' chain, we decided that the company's headquarters needed to be located in a more geographically central location, and after a great deal of study, we chose Gwinnett County."
Approximately half of the 135 administrative positions currently located in the Bellingham, Mass. corporate offices will be given the opportunity to relocate to Gwinnett or stay in their current locations.
But there are other positions which need to be filled locally, which is welcomed by the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners.
"We are pleased to welcome National DCP to Gwinnett County, an addition that will bring new jobs and investment to our community," Gwinnett Commission Chairman Charlotte Nash said. "National DCP's strategic decision to invest in Gwinnett is a statement about our favorable economic climate and advantageous location."
