ATLANTA -- Sundays just got a little more fun.
Starting June 2 -- yes, this Sunday -- SweetWater Brewery is opening its doors to the public for tours and tastings. For $10, attendees receive a souvenir pint glass to take home, plus a stroll around the facilities and beers to sip.
The venue has recently teamed up with The Giving Kitchen, a local nonprofit dedicated to helping folks in the Atlanta hospitality industry who have hit rough times. For every pint glass sold on Sundays, SweetWater donates $2 to the cause.
And if you need a designated driver, the brewery has got that covered, too. The venue is working with Uber, a private driver service, to get attendees home safely. First-time Uber riders can save $20 using promo code "SweetWaterATL" and the first 100 users to arrive at the brewery on Sunday receive a $10 Uber credit.
Tours run 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays and 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
SweetWater Brewery is located at 195 Ottley Drive in Atlanta.
