Foundation partners with Oklahoma group for tornado relief

DULUTH -- The Community Foundation of Northeast Georgia is working with the Oklahoma City Community Foundation to provide disaster relief for tornado victims.

The foundation partners with smaller, local agencies to give victims help, hope and healing long-term, Executive Director Judy Waters said. The donations are tax deductible and 100 percent of the contributions go directly to the community and victims.

"These agencies know best what the day-to-day needs are and where we can be most impactful with our giving," she said. "This is our mission at its best."
